I helped an older family member manage the project, so communication was important. The Royal Roofing and Siding team spoke patiently with both of us and made sure I received the major updates. They kept the entrance clear and were considerate about the disruption. Nothing felt rushed or overly complicated

The skylight had fogged glass and leaked around one corner. It was replaced along with the curb and surrounding flashing. Some interior trim required repainting afterward, which we expected. The room is brighter and no longer smells damp after rain.

Five vent pipes were clustered within a few feet of one another, including one that was no longer used. The abandoned opening was removed at the deck while the remaining pipes were individually reflashed. That simplified an area that had collected years of sealant and small repairs and the finished section looks much easier to maintain.

Great work Royal Roofing and Siding Brooklyn! Thorough inspection in the beginning, then tear-off exposed several weak deck boards around the old skylight. Our contract included a written allowance for damaged wood, so most of the replacement was already covered and there were no added surprises. The curb around the skylight was also raised to work with the new insulation. They were in and out in less than a week and managed to work around my schedule.

A branch cracked several siding panels and bent the outside corner. The original color had been discontinued, but the folks over at Royal Roofing and Siding Brooklyn found a close match and let us compare it outdoors before ordering. The new panels are slightly brighter in direct sun, which we expected. Replacing one section made more sense than redoing the entire wall. The repair looks better than I thought it would.

The small porch roof had failed even though the main roof above the house was still in good condition. They treated the two sections separately and replaced only the porch surface. New edge metal and wall flashing made the transition look far less improvised. I appreciated that the healthy roof was left alone. The porch ceiling has remained clean through several rains.

I expected the price to climb once the old shingles came off. Four sheets of rotted plywood were discovered along the front eave, but they were covered by the allowance in our agreement. The Royal Roofing and Siding Brooklyn crew replaced them before installing the underlayment and new shingles. The final invoice matched the original total. That kind of pricing clarity is rare enough to mention.
